| 1. How to I submit a brand and how much does it cost?

It couldn't be simpler to submit your brand to the GameLicenses.com website and it's completely free. You simply scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select "Submit a brand". In doing so you are presented with a screen that will allow you to add details about your brand, upload images, and add any and all licenses that you wish to make available.

| 2. What is the Territory?
|
Territory: A geographic region generally outlined in a Licensing Agreement Distribution Channels: The methods by which licensed merchandise reaches the consumer. These include traditional retailers of various tiers, as well as mail order, teleshopping, online distribution, etc. These channels should be defined in any Licensing Agreement.

Term: The duration of a licensing agreement.

| 4. What is an Advance?
|
Advance: Part of the payment required for a license, usually due upon singing of a licensing contract. Usually considered an advance against the Guarantee and generally recoupable by Licensee before additional royalty payments are made to Licensor.

| 5. What is the Guarantee?
|
Guarantee: A minimum royalty payment, usually based on expected sales. Actual royalty payments accrue against the guarantee; whatever remains of the guarantee amount after total royalties are tallied is payable at the end of the year or contract period. If the minimum guarantee is met by Licensee, they continue to pay royalty income to Licensor until the term either expires or the agreement is terminated.

Royalty: Generally a percentage of the manufacturers selling price on every product sold.
